Our Name Origin
In Ethiopia's Oromo traditional governance system, "Yuba" refers to an elder within the community who plays a key role in maintaining social order.
Most importantly, a "Yuba" is respected for wisdom and experience, and is trusted as a sounding board by many in the community, including the society leader known as the Abba Gada, to whom the "Yuba" serves as a counselor.
For the early-stage African founder, Yuba is both a trusted sounding board and a dedicated virtual co-founder.
